She has also guided her own children through homeschooling\, deepening her understanding of individualized\, heart-centered learning. \nLindsey is deeply inspired by Waldorf philosophy and its reverence for childhood. She believes that education should nurture the whole child—head\, heart\, and hands—while honoring each child’s unique path of development. \nHer love of nature is at the core of her work. Whether hiking\, gardening\, caring for animals\, or simply being outdoors\, Lindsey weaves the natural world into daily learning experiences. We also feature Saturday morning yoga\, miles of hiking trails\, giant granite boulder climbing\, and free range farm animals who often visit our overnight guests at their camp site. \nPlease allow time for navigating the country roads to Splitrock Farm and Retreat and for parking. Upon arrival we will be served hot tea as we watch the sunset cascading from the 360 panoramic mountian views all the way to the Pacific Ocean glistening the golden sunlight off of the water. Once all are grounded and relaxed we will walk to the Geodome container to gather in a deep state of meditative relaxation. \nSplitrock Farm and Retreat is dedicated to providing mindful experiences in nature for the health\, wellness and healing of all.

Only 25 tickets are available\, so buy yours now! \nLeslie Boyd\, M.S.\, P.P.S.  \nFounder of Architecture of Humanity \nCHIEF VISIONARY OFFICER\, CONTENT CREATOR AND FACILITATOR \nLeslie is a Somatic therapist specializing in trauma resolution. She sees clients privately in her office in Fallbrook\, California. Her formal education is in psychology: a BS in psychology and an MS in counseling psychology. She worked for 10 years as a school counselor. In 2017\, she finished a three-year certificate program in Somatic Experiencing (SE) and now sees clients based primarily within this modality. SE is a body-oriented therapeutic model and practice based on the lifework of Dr. Peter Levine. It is the leading practice of trauma resolution. \nMoving away from the pathological standard in traditional psychotherapy\, Leslie uses a psycho-biological approach which empowers individual sovereignty and agency. Primary methodology include: nervous system and attachment Theory education\, Polyvagal Theory\, Kundalini Kriya\, coherence (HRV) via nature-cycle syncing\, unconscious patterning awareness (Depth Psychology) and comparative animal behavior. \nIn addition\, Leslie has over 1\,500 hours in training and teaching yoga\, including Restorative Yoga and Pranayama (breathwork). She has completed the level one training in Cranial Sacral Therapy as well as Yoga Nidra iRest\, a trauma-researched guided meditation program. \nOver the last five years\, Leslie has facilitated over 40 workshops and events\, ranging in attendance from intimate yoga studio trainings (10-12 participants) to large group education sessions (up to 50 participants). She currently runs monthly intensive groups under the brand “Sisters of the Forest\,” which focuses on the idea of finding personal freedom from “Global Codependence.” \nHer most recent work of passion lies in the creation of a manual called Primal Partnering©. It utilizes all the above-mentioned bodies of research and work\, and seeks to provide a new language\, lens and paradigm to the old-guard methodology of couples therapy and addiction. \nGlobally-speaking\, Leslie believes – via personal and professional empirical research – that by learning our nervous systems (organism\, mammalian\, Homo sapiens and individual)\, we can begin to release the constriction of protection of fear. This transcendence will allow us to find our True Nature and bespoke Soul’s purpose. \nWitnessing first-hand the power of a sacred community and presence of a teacher fully embodied in integrity\, she seeks to share space and land with others where safety\, spirit and action are viewed as paramount elements in healing.

This month features the color RED and the theme is the Dragon\, 2024 animal for Chinese New Year. Join us as we gather as a community in nature\, and share laughter and connection by bonfire. \nThe evening begins with the most breathtaking panoramic sunset views of the mountains surrounding all of San Diego\, all the way to the Pacific Ocean. We will have live acoustic music from Misty Tomasino of Mystic Rhythyms\, for a mystical heart -opening experience. \nOur featured performing arts facilitator Amy Ma\, will be offering a community engaging experience with traditions of her homeland in China to celebrate this year of the Dragon. You are invited to dress in attire from your homeland\, or in color theme RED as we are rooted in to our ancestral origins. \nPlease bring instruments for guitar\, drum circle\, and vocals for open mic performances. Limited spaces are available for open mic- please register upon arrival. This month we will have food vendors to provide sustenance. \nThis month we will be offering a Lunar New Year Retreat as an ‘add on’ to the FREE Community Fireside. DESCRIPTION:Land stewardship volunteers needed to help build a connection to community in the outdoors through mother nature and permaculture\n\n\n \nSplitrock Farm & Retreat is developing a Permaculture Community. We are humbly requesting the help of volunteers wanting to be a part of this initiative through the service project for land stewardship\, because it takes a community to build a community. \nSplitrock Farm & Retreat is on a mission to improve community health by creating opportunities for people to experience the healing power of nature. We are offering programs that support mental\, physical\, and spiritual health\, as we create opportunities for people to develop a healthier relationship to self while immersing themselves in their natural surroundings. \nWe will be gathering in the morning for orientation on the overall mission and assigning group tasks to begin the building project for the day. We are going to be learning how to build compostable toilets from leaders in the permaculture community. Join us to pursue your passion of sustainability and discover how to light your fire within from entreprenuerial mentors to help bring your vision to life with community. \nFor this event we are providing bell tents with sleeping cots\, with a limited amount of spaces so be sure to add on to your ticket to reserve. You also have the option to camp overnight in your own tent or vehicle. The evening will include breathwork with Amy Ma of Sol Gratitude Village and Soundbath with Sierra Sovereign. Followed by a potluck\, and drum song circle by the bonfire. \nWe are requesting attendees to bring potluck items for the evening and light morning breakfast. Please bring food and a musical instrument to share your gifts in the evening. Drum & guitar circles with vocalists welcome in the acoustics of the amphitheater surrounding the firepit. \n* This project requires physical labor and able volunteers who can arrive the 28th to be a part of the vision we are co-creating to develop Sol Gratitude Village at Splitrock Farm and Retreat. \nSplitrock Farm & Retreat is rated the #1 HipCamp location in America. DESCRIPTION:Outdoor yoga at sunset with full moon rising over breathtaking views\, followed by a soundbath\, fire release ceremony\, and drumcircle.\n\n\nSplitrock Farm and Retreat is proudly offering a monthly Full Moon Event. \nOur Full Moon event will begin with yoga on our breathtaking 101 acres of magnificent panoramic views of the surrounding mountains all the way to the Pacific ocean on the horizon. This event allows you to watch both the sunset and moon rise at the same time. \nThis will be followed by serving hot tea to warm our bodies and open our hearts to setting intentions on paper\, before being guided into a gentle soundbath inside our Geodome at the Splitrock Commons. After the soundbath we will begin a fire release ceremony by letting go of all that does not serve us\, while burning the paper scroll containing our intentions igniting into the ether. Join us to connect with community\, enjoy potluck nibbles\, and to harmonize the beat of your own drum in a drumcircle. \nWe encourage you to bring a light and healthy potluck item to share with this growing community\, as well as a percussion instrument to join the festivities. If you would like to stay over night we have options to add on to the ticket price for a private glamping tent\, or to bring your own and stay until morning for a beautiful sunrise hike. \nYou have the option to either add a glamping tent for us to provide for you\, or to bring your own to set up in the Splitrock Commons. Additionally you may book one of our private campsites at splitrock.farm. We are Americas #1 Glampsite on Hipcamp and host multplie venues for large or private events. \nSplitrock Farm & Retreat is pleased to sharing our unrivaled views of the ocean stretching from La Jolla\, across the North County Beaches to the nature preserve of Camp Pendleton. To the northeast are views of near 11K foot snowy peaks or San Jacinto and San Gorgonio\, with rolling hills of De Luz and Fallbrook in the foreground. We have over 6 miles of hiking trails with tall pines\, ancient oaks\, and soaring palms\, with grassy meadows and large granite boulders for climbing.
