The Oak Grove Communal Camp

A 7-acre area all together with a dozen giant oak trees that create a 1.1-acre shade canopy. It is the perfect site for family or friends to gather around the picnic tables, BBQ, or snooze and listen to the sounds of the rustling oaks. On a clear day, you can see the blue horizon of the Pacific Ocean, and its constant breeze further cools the air under the oak canopy.

The Oak Grove has a shipping container with two flushing toilets and sinks, two outdoor showers with solar heating, and a camp shop with some of those popular items that campers need or forget. The spacious setting allows for families with children to ride bikes and play freely, with visits from our free range farm animals for the ultimate petting zoo experience!

You may set up your own additional tents, and we also offer add-on items to make your stay with us a full glamping experience by renting additional canvas bell tents, cots, and bedding. We will do the set-up and clean-up, just pull-up and start enjoying nature sooner.

Perfect for small groups up to 50 guests or for wellness events, ceremonies and small music performances. This site includes:

f. There is a full outdoor kitchen available with prior permission so we can set it up. it include propane grills, sinks, prep tables, and cookware. You may add on a catered kitchen experience to your booking as well. Please contact the host for more information!

The Geodome is a great place for meditation, shade or for sleeping if you wish, just note it may get damp due to fog. This site is tucked away from other camp sites and has its own outhouse.

Jurassic Jungle

The Jurassic Jungle campsite sits at the very bottom of Splitrock Valley, tucked away against a natural spring and creek that flows about half of the year under a canopy of live oaks with enough palms and boulders mixed throughout that it seems you are in Jurassic Park. The temp under the canopy stays 15-20 degrees cooler.

The site includes a 20ft by 20ft turfed deck situated under an amazing oak tree. Its perfect for yoga and to set-up tables for large family gatherings.

Sunset Oaks VW Bus

Sunset Oaks describes itself, breathtaking views of the sunset over purple rolling mountains under giant live oak trees. Sleep in a 1974 VW Bus that has been converted into a glamping unit!

Rockbottom

You are certain to giggle as you turn the corner driving up to Rock Bottom, right before the awe of ocean views set in! This secluded, serene site is completely private form all other campsites and has some of the best views of all! Watch the sunrise over Mt Palomar and set over the ocean horizon. This site is perfect for a romantic getaway, small family (sleep in the hidden cavern!), or a small group of friends wanting to feel far away, but stay close to home. Due to its seclusion on the southern side of the property, there is not a hose or sink to use at this site. We have a water spigot outside the Camp Shop in the Oak Grove.

Peaceful Valley

Peaceful Valley, named because of its vibe and the tallest boulder is throwing the V-sign, is nestled under the highest peak at Splitrock Farm and Retreat and one of the highest in De Luz at 1477ft. Shady oak trees outcrop from huge boulders from where to view all of San Diego County and the endless ocean horizon.

Peaceful Valleys breathtaking views include a giant meadow of abandoned avocado trees with tall grass to enhance the landscape, and easy access to our 6+ miles of hiking trails.

The site is large enough to host small groups of up to 50 people.

The site includes a composting toilet and several water pickets. Plenty of parking and areas to pitch a tent. This space has a variety of mother nature’s offerings, from shaded oak trees to open sky for gazing up at starry nights. It also includes massive boulders for climbing.

Granite Tabernacle

Granite Tabernacle gets its name from a giant rock that split causing a “rock tent” (tabernacle is a fancy word for tent).  The Tabernacle is ultra-private campsite and, at 1,420 ft elevation, has incredible views from Big Bear across to the ocean horizon.

You may set up your own additional tents, and we also offer add-on items to make your stay with us a full glamping experience by renting additional canvas bell tents, cots, and bedding. We will do the set-up and clean-up, just pull-up and start enjoying nature sooner.
