Camp

Splitrock Farm & Retreat has different campsites to please any outdoor enthusiasts. Explore all our campsites below to find your perfect camping experience with us.

The Oak Grove Communal Camp

A 7-acre area all together with a dozen giant oak trees that create a 1.1-acre shade canopy. It is the perfect site for family or friends to gather around the picnic tables, BBQ, or snooze and listen to the sounds of the rustling oaks. On a clear day, you can see the blue horizon of the Pacific Ocean, and its constant breeze further cools the air under the oak canopy.

The Oak Grove has a shipping container with two flushing toilets and sinks, two outdoor showers with solar heating, and a camp shop with some of those popular items that campers need or forget. The spacious setting allows for families with children to ride bikes and play freely, with visits from our free range farm animals for the ultimate petting zoo experience!

You may set up your own additional tents, and we also offer add-on items to make your stay with us a full glamping experience by renting additional canvas bell tents, cots, and bedding. We will do the set-up and clean-up, just pull-up and start enjoying nature sooner.

Hidden among giant boulders with views from Mt Palomar across North County to the Pacific Ocean’s endless horizon. Sleep in a cozy cavern with a canvas cover that stays cool and dry all day and night. Peek out at the surrounding trails of Splitrock Farm, spy on Camp Pendleton’s air field, and stare at the stars next to a fire.

The 312sqft / 20ft bell tent overlooks the ocean and is perfect for sunsets from the double bed or sofa (pull-out into 2nd double bed).
